How we’re trying to be a little greener — one miniature at a time.
We know producing plastic miniatures isn’t the most eco-friendly thing in the world — and it’s something we think about a lot. While we can’t change the materials overnight, we can make thoughtful choices in other areas of our business to help reduce our footprint. Here’s how we’re trying to make a difference, step by step:
♻️ Sustainable PackagingAll of our boxes are FSC-approved, which means the cardboard comes from responsibly managed forests. They’re also made with 60–90% recycled content and can be recycled again when you’re done. We also use eco-friendly packing peanuts made from starch — they’re 100% biodegradable and compostable. You can even dissolve them in water! It’s a small change, but it means less plastic waste heading to landfill. |

🖨️ Print on DemandBecause we’re a print-on-demand service, we only produce what’s actually ordered. That means no overstock, no unsold minis gathering dust, and far less waste overall. It’s a more sustainable approach that helps us stay efficient and kind to the planet. |
⚡ Smarter Energy UseOur printers are connected to smart plugs, which automatically switch them off once a print finishes — even if it’s in the middle of the night. This helps us cut down on unnecessary energy use and keep our electricity consumption (and costs) as low as possible. It’s a simple change that makes a real difference over time. |

🚶 Delivering the Green WayWe’re lucky to be just a short walk from our local post office, so we make a point of delivering parcels on foot instead of driving. Rain or shine, you’ll often see Michelle or Luke making the trip — sometimes accompanied by our tiny helper or resident “security guard”! It might seem like a small thing, but it all adds up. |
🔁 Giving Misprints a Second LifeEven with careful printing and quality checks, the occasional misprint still happens — it’s part of the process! But instead of tossing them away, we like to give them a second life. Our misprinted or slightly imperfect minis might have small flaws or surface marks, but they’re perfect for kitbashing, conversions, or hobby experiments. Whether you’re testing new paints, creating custom characters, or building unique terrain pieces, these minis are great for creative projects. We resell them at a discounted price, helping to reduce waste while giving hobbyists affordable materials to play and experiment with. It’s another way we make sure that as little as possible ends up as waste — and that more creativity ends up on your tabletop. |

When your order arrives, please consider recycling or reusing the packaging wherever possible.
Our cardboard boxes can go straight into your recycling bin, and our starch-based packing peanuts can be composted or safely dissolved in water. The bubble wrap that sometimes protects your minis can easily be reused too — it’s perfect for keeping your models safe when travelling to D&D sessions, wargames, or conventions.
Every little action helps reduce waste and keeps the hobby we all love that bit kinder to the planet.
