As the High Mage of Banimal, Van Houten is a formidable arcane spellcaster whose magical talents have earned him a place at the side of the mercenary outfit's leader. Despite his considerable abilities, life as a mercenary was never his ambition. He longs for a return to quieter days, though finding a way out of his current life may prove harder than mastering the arcane arts.

Van Houten is an excellent choice for a D&D gnome wizard or sorcerer character, particularly for players looking to create an experienced spellcaster with a strong background in arcane magic. He could be an accomplished wizard, a knowledgeable magical scholar or a seasoned mage whose adventures have led him into unexpected company.

A versatile fantasy character for tabletop campaigns, magical encounters and miniature collections.
